Information for Tutors
Information specific to a semester can be found here.
Note Starting from the summer term 2022, the projects for summer and winter term are collected seperately, and there will be seperate project selections.
FAQ
- Submit your project description in the previous semester via the ILIAS course. The link and password will be sent to you/your professor via email. The link can also be found in the upcoming semester here.
- You will then be offered a possibility to present or describe your project in some form.
- Before the start of the semester, you will get a list of students in your project, so you can set up a first meeting and get started with the project.
- At the end of the semester, you submit the grades.

- In a first step login into ILIAS and register for the course “Teamprojekt <Sommersemester/Wintersemester> <year>“.
- Since the upcoming term usually doesn’t yet exist in ILIAS, you can find the course under the node for the previous semester.
- You will be asked to fill in fields such as course of study and semester, which are not important for tutors and can be filled with dummy values.
- We add you to the
tutorsgroup and you’ll receive a confirmation E-Mail. - You can access the course via the link that you receive in the E-Mail (or by navigating on ILIAS to Teamprojekt <Sommersemester/Wintersemester> <year>).
- Please select “Projektinformation” and now choose “Eintrag hinzufügen” on the next page.
You’ll see a form that asks you for information about your project
(we translated the descriptions in grey below each field – please do not hesitate to ask, if the translation is unclear).
- Projektname (name of your project)
- Beschreibung (description of your project)
- Arbeitsgruppe (chair or group offering the project - a link to the homepage)
- Titel (the name of the chair or group)
- Studiengang (course of study that you admit to your project)
- Industrieprojekt (is your project an industry project – only the group of Klaus Ostermann will tick YES here)
- Psychologieprojekt (is your project a psychology project for students of cognitive sciences, only)
- Betreuung [Vorname Nachname
] (list of tutors on this project with their contact data) - Anzahl Teams (number of different groups you admit on this project)
- Maximale Größe eines Teams (number of students per team admitted)
- Infos (Possibility to upload a file with additional information about your project - will be linked from the project description)
- Teamprojekt-Werbefolie Upload (slides we will use to advertise your project – there is a template on ILIAS that you should use. Please upload PPTX).
Student select their project priorities and are then automatically assigned to projects, optimizing for those priorities as well as reasonable team sizes.
Before the teamproject has started, students can leave the teamproject without negative consequences. After that, dropping out will result in a failing grade for the teamproject, except under special circumstances (e.g., illness).
In any case, if a student drops out of the teamproject, both the corresponding tutors and
teamprojekt@cs.uni-tuebingen.de must be notified as soon as possible.
Starting from the summer term 2023, you submit the grades directly to the examination office. To do so:
- You add the grades to the template
notenmeldung_teamproject.xlsxwe provided you with and check that the student data is correct. - You send this file to
notenmeldung@informatik.uni-tuebingen.devia e-mail
For the winter term 2022/23, please send the grades to us directly via email to: teamprojekt@cs.uni-tuebingen.de.
